School can be very frustrating, annoying and complicated a lot of the time. Oftentimes, kids have such terrible days at school that they come home bursting in tears or screaming of frustration. When these unfortunate events occur, especially in an overwhelming learning environment, we sometimes get so out of hand that we take the anger out on friends and family, and say and do things we regret later. But what you have to realize is that school; well, it's just not worth getting upset about. Again, school is not worth your time worrying about. What most people don't understand is that, most of their problems are really caused by mainly, their emotions and attitude. It may sound dumb and simple now, but you'll thank yourself for giving it a try later, when school finally makes a right turn for you.

Steps

  1. 1
Be aware of what exactly you don't like about school.
  2. 2
Note exactly what you are having trouble with at school. You want to say "everything", but you have to think about reality. What changes are in your power? Create a list of specific things that are bothering you in school and you would like to change. Then think hard about a solution for the problem. Whether you need to speak to a teacher, social worker, or even the principal at your school in order to fix the issue, go ahead and do what needs to be done. This will be worth your time.

  3. 3
Be prepared for the big day ahead.
  4. 4
Make sure you have a the school supplies and materials you know you will need for the upcoming school day. Make sure you have a nice backpack with several pockets and places to put extra supplies. You should have one for your binder, folders and textbooks, one for your pencils, erasers, sharpeners, rulers, protractor, etc., and one in case of an emergency. In your emergency pocket, you should have a first aid kit, deodorant, sunscreen, sunglasses, gloves, extra cash, and whatever else you think you may need in an emergency situation.
  5. 5
Put a smile on your face.
  6. 6
Even if it's a fake smile, lifting the corners of your lips can be a mood booster. Greet people with a smile and compliment people on their clothes or accessories, even if it's not necessarily something you like. It will make them feel good about themselves, as well as you, when you see a smile on their face.
  7. 7
Remember: looking good = feeling good = having a great day!
  8. 8
Keep clean. Take a shower the night before the school day and make sure you look and feel squeaky clean for the day ahead of you.
  9. 9
    Get enough sleep.
  10. 10
Having an all-nighter may seem fun while you're at it, but it sure won't be fun when you're asleep on your desk when the teacher calls on you. Before bed, make sure you have everything ready for tomorrow. Have your clothes laid out, have your homework done and most importantly, don't forget to brush your teeth! You'll regret it in the morning, stinker! When you're all set for tomorrow, get into your comfiest pajamas and crawl under your soft bed, preferably doing something relaxing such as reading a book or sipping a cup of hot tea. You'll fall asleep in no time.
  11. 11
    Eat a healthy breakfast.
  12. 12
Preferably, you should eat something that will get your blood flowing and make you feel awake and alert. Yogurt with granola and berries with a glass of orange juice is a good choice. Cereal is a good choice too, just not Fruit Loops or Captain Crunch! Keep it healthy and natural.
  13. 13
Gather your things and go to school.
  14. 14
Listen to some upbeat music on your way to school, and follow the beat of your own drum; your heart. Don't let anyone get in your way today. No one can let you down if you are strong and don't let them. Stand up for yourself and have the day of your life!
