Some people don't like the way organizations are treating them. Many students feel that they need more control over their own school, and so there is a little trend going around to start rebel movements. This is a short guide on how to get your rebel group set up and your rebel movement going as a student.
Steps
-
1Make some reflections on what you would like to change about your school. It might help to ask some schoolmates for their opinions. It might be something that you feel your school is missing, does not support or something that should just be changed or scrapped altogether.
-
2Make a list containing all of this. Lists are always the best way to get what you want organized.Advertisement
-
3Categorize your list, making subheadings for things like events, rules, holidays and homework.
-
4If you are the kind of person who spends a lot of time on their social network (i.e: Facebook/Twitter/Myspace), you should start your rebel movement by making an account solely for it.
-
5Provide all true information into your information boxes when creating your account, and make sure to put 'rebellious nature' as one of your personality aspects.
-
6Make just one profile picture, something that is very similar to a logo, but not with anybody's face on it - if somebody finds out you are the mastermind behind the rebel movement, you could get into trouble.
-
7Start off your first post/tweet by telling everybody who looks at your page what your aims are; changing your school the way its students want it to.
-
8Add, Friend or Follow everybody who you know goes to your school (not including teachers or staff members).
-
9If anybody asks who you are, do not tell them, just say that you are someone who cares and who wants to bring some change for the better.
-
10You will need a closed circle of friends, whom you can trust with your identity, as they will serve to be your rebel team.
-
11Along with your 'team', organize events like Halloween, Christmas or thanksgiving parties.
-
12You can use these events to gather money for certain projects that might help you change your school the way you want it to.
-
13Continue doing things like hosting events and posting propaganda online, and you should soon have a miniature rebellion on your hands!

QuestionSchool is a nightmare, how do I deal with this?Community AnswerFind good friends that you can at least commiserate with about how terrible school is. QuestionHow can I organize a military takeover in my school?Desperately_lookingfora_communityCommunity AnswerUnfortunately, that's not going to work. Even a military takeover by adults would be quickly squashed by the authorities. There's a lot you can do to change the environment in your school and stand up to a negative culture without getting violent, though, so don't give up!
