Bakhtegan County

Bakhtegan County (Persian: شهرستان بختگان) is in Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Abadeh Tashk.[3]

At the 2006 census, the region's population (as the former Abadeh Tashk District of Neyriz County) was 28,664 in 7,008 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 32,327 people in 8,664 households.[5] At the 2016 census there were 32,224 people in 9,966 households.[2]

In July 2018, Abadeh Tashk District was separated from Neyriz County to become Bakhtegan County and divided into two districts of two rural districts each.[3]
