Abiz-e Jadid
Abiz-e Jadid (Persian: ابيز جديد, also Romanized as Ābīz-e Jadīd; also known as Ābīz)[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Shaskuh District of Zirkuh County, South Khorasan province, Iran.

At the 2006 census, its population was 2,102 in 574 households, when it was in Shaskuh Rural District of Zirkuh District, Qaen County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 3,077 people in 776 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,716 people in 787 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county and Zirkuh County established with three new districts.[2]
After the census, Abiz-e Jadid was raised from village to city status and made the capital of the district.[6]
