Shaskuh Rural District

Shaskuh Rural District (Persian: دهستان شاسكوه) is in Shaskuh District of Zirkuh County, South Khorasan province, Iran.

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of Zirkuh District in Qaen County) was 8,329 in 2,043 households.[3] There were 9,752 inhabitants in 2,562 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 4,022 in 1,202 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county and Zirkuh County established with three new districts. The largest of its five villages was Abiz-e Jadid, with 2,716 people.[2]
