Shirk-e Sorjeh
Shirk-e Sorjeh (Persian: شيرك سرجه, also Romanized as Shīrk-e Sorjeh; also known as Shīrk, Shīrag, Shīrg, and Shīrk-e Sājī)[3] is a village in Zohan Rural District of Zohan District, Zirkuh County, South Khorasan province, Iran. It is located along the Ghohestan- Zohaan road, 89 kilometres (55 mi) by road northeast of Birjand.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,156 in 265 households, when it was in Qaen County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 962 people in 281 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,115 people in 340 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county and Zirkuh County established with three new districts. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
