Ahmadabad Rural District (Firuzabad County)

Ahmadabad Rural District (Persian: دهستان احمدآباد)[3] is in the Central District of Firuzabad County, Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Ahmadabad.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 15,919 in 3,458 households.[4] There were 16,806 inhabitants in 4,205 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 15,441 in 4,589 households. The largest of its 110 villages was Baygan, with 2,481 people.[2]
