Asir Rural District

Asir Rural District (Persian: دهستان اسير)[3] is in Asir District of Mohr County, Fars province, Iran. It is administered from the city of Asir.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 8,553 in 1,758 households.[4] There were 4,691 inhabitants in 1,114 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 5,818 in 1,376 households. The largest of its 24 villages was Chah Kabkan, with 2,150 people.[2]
