Azghand Rural District
Azghand Rural District (Persian: دهستان ازغند) is in Shadmehr District of Mahvelat County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Azghand.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 11,433 in 3,015 households.[3] There were 7,304 inhabitants in 2,316 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 7,578 in 2,498 households. The largest of its 17 villages was Azghand, with 1,280 people.[2]
