Baravat District

Baravat District (Persian: بخش بروات) is in Bam County, Kerman province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Baravat.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, the region's population (as parts of the Central District and Rud Ab District) was 23,770 in 5,969 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 35,673 people in 11,022 households,[5] by which time those parts had been separated to form the new Baravat District.[3] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 59,612 inhabitants in 18,971 households.[2]
