Darijan

Darijan (Persian: دريجان, also Romanized as Darījān)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Darijan Rural District of the Central District of Bam County, Kerman province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 406 in 116 households, when it was in Howmeh Rural District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 716 people in 308 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 787 people in 283 households.[2]

In 2018, Darijan Rural District was established in the Central District and Deh Bakri Rural District was separated from the district in the establishment of Deh Bakri District (which was divided into Abareq and Deh Bakri Rural Districts).[4]
