Borran District
Borran District (Persian: بخش بران) is in Aslan Duz County, Ardabil province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Borran-e Olya.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, the region's population (as Qeshlaq-e Gharbi Rural District of Parsabad County) was 8,184 in 1,551 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 6,910 people in 1,643 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, there were 8,449 inhabitants in 2,425 households.[2]
In 2017, Aslan Duz District was separated from Parsabad County, elevated to the status of a county with the city of Aslan Duz as its capital, and divided into two districts (Central and Borran Districts) of two rural districts each.[3]
