The Central District of Holeylan County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان هلیلان) is in Ilam province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Towhid,[2] whose population at the National Census of 2016 was 2,128 in 601 households.[3]

Prior to the formation of the district, its constituent parts were in the former Holeylan District of Chardavol County. In 2020, the district was separated from the county, elevated to the status of Holeylan County, and divided into two districts, each with two rural districts. The city of Towhid was designated the capital of the new county.[2][4][5]
