Salehabad, Ilam

Salehabad (Persian: صالح آباد, also Romanized as Şāleḩābād)[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Salehabad District of Mehran County, Ilam province, Iran. The city is populated by Kurds.[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 1,934 in 399 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,707 people in 407 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,751 people in 447 households.[2]
