Central District (Miandorud County)

The Central District of Miandorud County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان میان‌دورود) is in Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Surak. Prior to the formation of the district, its constituent parts were in the former Miandorud District of Sari County.[3]

The National Census in 2011 counted 40,013 people in 11,872 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 40,303 inhabitants in 13,224 households.[2]
