Eslamabad, Miandorud

Eslamabad (Persian: اسلام اباد, also Romanized as Eslāmābād)[3] is a village in Miandorud-e Bozorg Rural District of the Central District of Miandorud County, Mazandaran province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 3,362 in 904 households, when it was in the former Miandorud District of Sari County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 3,912 people in 1,129 households,[5] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of the new Miandorud County.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,997 people in 1,261 households; it was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
