Central District (Sib and Suran County)

The Central District of Sib and Suran County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان سیب و سوران) is in Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Suran.[3]

At the National Census in 2006, its population (as a part of the former Sib and Suran District of Saravan County) was 44,041 in 9,033 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 52,668 people in 12,525 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county to become a part of the newly established Sib and Suran County.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 62,876 inhabitants in 15,791 households.[2]
