Sirkan

Sirkan (Persian: سيركان, also Romanized as Sīrkān)[2] is a city in, and the capital of, Bam Pasht District of Saravan County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran.[3]

At the 2006 census, its population was 1,347 in 284 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,499 people in 349 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,196 people in 557 households.[6]

Education

Sirkan is regarded as one of the most underdeveloped regions in Iran, but the students have shown unexpected performance in the Iranian University Entrance Exam.
