Central District (Varzaneh County)

The Central District of Varzaneh County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان ورزنه) is in Isfahan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Varzaneh.[3]

At the National Census in 2006, the region's population (as a part of the former Bon Rud District of Isfahan County) was 18,339 in 4,741 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 19,132 people in 5,517 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, there were 20,644 inhabitants in 6,300 households.[2]

In 2021, Bon Rud District was separated from Isfahan County to become Varzaneh County and divided into two districts and four rural districts. The city of Varzaneh was designated as its capital.[3]
