Central District (Zaveh County)

The Central District of Zaveh County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان زاوه) is in Razavi Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Dowlatbad.

At the National Census in 2006, its population (as a part of the former Jolgeh Zaveh District of Torbat-e Heydarieh County) was 38,874 in 9,557 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 40,701 people in 11,380 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Zaveh County.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 38,384 inhabitants in 11,649 households.[2]
