Mal-e Khalifeh

Mal-e Khalifeh (Persian: مال خليفه, also Romanized as Māl-e Khalīfeh and Māl Khalīfeh; also known as Deh-e Khalīfeh and Deh Khalīfa)[3] is a city in, and the capital of, the Central District of Falard County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran, and also serves as capital of the county.[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 2,962 in 658 households, when it was in the former Falard District of Lordegan County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 3,698 people in 857 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 4,024 people in 1,228 households.[2] The city is populated by Lurs.[7] The city is populated by Lurs.[8]

Falard District was separated from the county in 2022 and became Falard County, with two districts and Mal-e Khalifeh as its capital.[4]
