Doreh Rural District

Doreh Rural District (Persian: دهستان درح) is in Doreh District of Sarbisheh County, South Khorasan province, Iran.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 9,650 in 2,457 households, when it was in the Central District.[3] There were 10,007 inhabitants in 2,634 households at the following census of 2011.[4]

At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 6,975 in 1,790 households, by which time it had been elevated to the status of a district and divided into two rural districts: Doreh and Lanu. The largest of its 56 villages was Doreh, with 2,431 people.[2]
