Galleh Dar

Galleh Dar Rural District (Persian: دهستان گله‌دار)[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Galleh Dar District of Mohr County, Fars province, Iran, and also serves as the administrative center for Galleh Dar Rural District.

At the 2006 census, its population was 9,982 in 1,995 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 11,354 people in 2,648 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 13,448 people in 3,589 households.[2]

According to a 1939 publication of the anthropologist Henry Field, 4,500 Circassians lived in Galleh Dar.[6]
