Kahir District

Kahir District (Persian: بخش کهیر) is in Konarak County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Kahir.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, the region's population (as Kahir Rural District of the Central District) was 10,799 in 2,161 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 11,055 people in 2,579 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, there were 13,396 inhabitants in 3,299 households.[2]

After the census, the rural district was elevated to the status of a district and divided into two rural districts and no cities.[3]
