Kakavand-e Sharqi Rural District

Kakavand-e Sharqi Rural District (Persian: دهستان كاكاوند شرقي) is in Kakavand District of Delfan County, Lorestan province, Iran. It is administered from the city of Haft Cheshmeh.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 8,241 in 1,715 households.[3] There were 6,958 inhabitants in 1,786 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 5,578 in 1,673 households. The largest of its 94 villages was Hezar Khani, with 738 people.[2]
