Karchambu District

Karchambu District (Persian: بخش کرچمبو) is in Buin Miandasht County, Isfahan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Nowghan.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, its population (as a part of the former Buin Miandasht District of Faridan County) was 5,718 in 1,261 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 4,465 people in 1,295 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 4,163 inhabitants in 1,433 households,[2] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Buin Miandasht County.[3]
