Khamak District

Khamak District (Persian: بخش خمک) is in Zehak County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Khamak.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, the region's population (as Khamak Rural District in Jazink District) was 10,324 in 2,414 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 11,126 people in 2,977 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, there were 11,037 inhabitants in 3,197 households.[2]

After the census, Khamak Rural District was elevated to the status of a district and divided into two rural districts.[3]
