Kolanjin

Kolanjin (Persian: كلنجين, also Romanized as Kolanjīn, Kalanjīn, Kolangīn, Kolenjīn, and Qūlānjīn)[3] is a village in Kharaqan-e Sharqi Rural District of Abgarm District, Avaj County, Qazvin province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 979 in 263 households, when it was in Buin Zahra County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,205 people in 345 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,080 people in 339 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Avaj County. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
