Komehr

Komehr (Persian: كمهر; also known as Kūmehr)[3] is a village in Komehr Rural District of the Central District of Sepidan County, Fars province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,722 in 379 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,759 people in 477 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,583 people in 450 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]

History

The village was buried, leaving no survivors, during the 1972 Iran blizzard.[6]
