Kord Kola

Kord Kola (Persian: كردكلا, also Romanized as Kord Kolā)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Chapakrud-e Sharqi Rural District of Gil Khuran District, Juybar County, Mazandaran province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,631 in 397 households, when it was in the former Chapakrud Rural District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,723 people in 484 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,792 people in 555 households; it was the largest village in its rural district. [2]

In 2023, Chapakrud Rural District was divided into Chapakrud-e Gharbi and Chapakrud-e Sharqi Rural Districts.[4]
