Larim Rural District

Larim Rural District (Persian: دهستان لاريم) is a former administrative division of Gil Khuran District of Juybar County, Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital was the village of Larim.[3]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 9,471 in 2,529 households.[4] There were 9,931 inhabitants in 3,036 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 10,547 in 3,547 households. The largest of its 17 villages was Larim, with 5,300 people.[2]

In 2023, Larim Rural District was elevated to the status of Larim District and divided into Larim-e Jonubi and Larim-e Shomali Rural Districts.[6]
