Larim District

Larim District (Persian: بخش لاریم) is in Juybar County, Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Larim.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, the region's population (as the former Larim Rural District of Gil Khuran District) was 9,471 in 2,529 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 9,931 people in 3,036 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, there were 10,547 inhabitants in 3,547 households.[2]

In 2023, Larim Rural District was elevated to the status of Larim District and divided into Larim-e Jonubi and Larim-e Shomali Rural Districts.[3]
