Latak, Mazandaran

Latak (Persian: لتاك, also Romanized as Latāk)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Miyandaman Rural District of Kuhestan District, Tonekabon County, Mazandaran province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 394 in 107 households, when it was in Baladeh Rural District of Khorramabad District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 343 people in 111 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 434 people in 140 households.[2]

In 2019, Baladeh-ye Sharqi Rural District was established in Khorramabad District. Do Hezar and Seh Hezar Rural Districts were separated from the district to form the new Kuhestan District, in which Miyandaman Rural District was also established.[4]
