Mahmudabad-e Seyyed Rural District

Mahmudabad-e Seyyed Rural District (Persian: دهستان محمودآباد سيد) is in Zeydabad District of Sirjan County, Kerman province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Mahmudabad-e Seyyed.

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the Central District) was 7,923 in 1,936 households.[3] There were 10,165 inhabitants in 2,655 households at the following census of 2011, by which time the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of Zeydabad District.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 12,708 in 3,560 households. The largest of its 37 villages was Mahmudabad-e Seyyed, with 4,622 people.[2]
