Mombi District

Mombi District (Persian: بخش ممبی) is in Bahmai County, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Qaleh Mombi.[3][4]

At the 2006 National Census, the region's population (as Bahmai-ye Garmsiri-ye Shomali Rural District of Bahmai-ye Garmsiri District) was 7,729 in 1,477 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 6,524 people in 1,534 households.[6] At the latest census in 2016, there were 6,150 inhabitants in 1,646 households.[2]

After the census, Mombi and Sar Asiab-e Yusefi Districts were established, with two rural districts and one city each.[3][4]
