Murtan, Rask
Murtan (Persian: مورتان) is a village in, and the capital of, Murtan Rural District of Parud District, Rask County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 998 in 184 households, when it was in Sarbaz County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,167 people in 253 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,348 people in 302 households; it was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
After the census, three districts were separated from Sarbaz County to establish Rask County, with the city of Rask as its capital.[3]
