Negin Kavir District

Negin Kavir District (Persian: بخش نگین کویر) is in Fahraj County, Kerman province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Dehnow-e Eslamabad.

At the 2006 National Census, its population (as Chahdegal Rural District of the former Rigan District of Bam County) was 17,849 in 4,159 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 27,357 people in 6,602 households, by which time the rural district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Fahraj County.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 26,922 inhabitants in 6,643 households.[2]
