Noney district
Noney district (Meitei pronunciation: /nō-né/[lower-alpha 2][1]) is a district in Manipur, India, created by bifurcating erstwhile Tamenglong district.

Demographics
Majority of the residents are ethnic Rongmei Naga and Thadou people with a large Inpui Naga minority in Haochong subdivision.
Rongmei language and Thadou language is the most commonly spoken language with few Inpui, Chiru, Gangte speakers.
