Parak, Bushehr

Parak (Persian: پرك; also known as Barak)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Taheri Rural District of Siraf District of Kangan County, Bushehr province, Iran.

At the 2006 census, its population was 1,160 in 266 households, when it was in the Central District.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 3,441 people in 689 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 9,976 people in 1,087 households.[2] In 2017, the rural district and the city of Bandar Siraf were separated from the Central District to establish Siraf District.[6]
