Rostamabad-e Shomali Rural District (Persian: دهستان رستم آباد شمالي)[3] is in the Central District of Rudbar County, Gilan province, Iran.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 2,782 in 757 households.[4] There were 2,549 inhabitants in 796 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,478 in 836 households. The largest of its 20 villages was Eskolak, with 707 people.[2]
