Rudboneh

Rudboneh (Persian: رودبنه, also Romanized as Rūdboneh, Rood Boneh, Rūdbaneh, Rūdbeneh, and Rūd Boneh)[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Rudboneh District of Lahijan County, Gilan province, Iran.

At the 2006 census, its population was 3,594 in 1,079 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 3,646 people in 1,783 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,441 people in 1,220 households.[2]

Language

Linguistically the town is indigenous Gilaki speaking as well as 5% Turkic & Persian as the standard.[6]
