Layl Rural District

Layl Rural District (Persian: دهستان ليل)[3] is in the Central District of Lahijan County, Gilan province, Iran.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 12,183 in 3,523 households.[4] There were 8,908 inhabitants in 2,784 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 8,077 in 2,770 households. The largest of its 41 villages was Sustan, with 2,336 people.[2]
