Salami Rural District (Shadegan County)

Salami Rural District (Persian: دهستان سالمی) is in Khanafereh District of Shadegan County, Khuzestan province, Iran. It is administered from the city of Khanafereh.

At the National Census of 2011, its population was 14,848 in 3,343 households.[3] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 10,504 in 2,734 households. The largest of its six villages was Salami, with 3,019 people.[2]
