Sarchehan County

Sarchehan County (Persian: شهرستان سرچهان) is in Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Hesami.[3]

At the 2006 census, the region's population (as the former Sarchehan District of Bavanat County) was 18,933 in 4,569 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 22,492 people in 6,074 households.[5] At the 2016 census, there were 23,129 people in 7,177 households.[2] It was separated from Bavanat County in 2018 to form Sarchehan County.[6]
