Shaghun, Simakan

Shaghun (Persian: شاغون, also Romanized as Shāghūn)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Pol Beh Pain Rural District of Simakan District, Jahrom County, Fars province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 733 in 147 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 798 people in 200 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 798 people in 208 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
