Shahmirzad District
Shahmirzad District (Persian: بخش شهمیرزاد) is in Mehdishahr County, Semnan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Shamirzad.

At the 2006 National Census, its population (as a part of the former Mehdishahr District of Semnan County) was 15,512 in 4,100 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 16,782 people in 4,908 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county to establish Mehdishahr County.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 16,694 inhabitants in 5,695 households.[2]
