Sharifabad, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari

Sharifabad (Persian: شريف اباد, also Romanized as Sharīfābād)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Sarab-e Olya Rural District of Babaheydar District of Farsan County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 257 in 50 households, when it was in Mizdej-e Olya Rural District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 209 people in 53 households, by which time Babaheydar District had formed and split into two rural districts.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 175 people in 50 households.[2] The village is populated by Lurs.[7]
