Sirch

Sirch (Persian: سيرچ, also Romanized as Sīrch and Sīroch; also known as Sirj and Sirūj)[3] is a village in Sirch Rural District of Shahdad District, Kerman County, Kerman province, Iran. Despite its proximity to the city of Shahdad, it does not have a desert climate.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,688 in 445 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,599 people in 777 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,550 people in 511 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
