Susan-e Sharqi Rural District

Susan-e Sharqi Rural District (Persian: دهستان سوسن شرقی) is in Susan District of Izeh County, Khuzestan province, Iran.

Not to be confused with Susan District or Susan-e Gharbi Rural District.

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the Central District) was 5,517 in 965 households.[3] There were 5,075 inhabitants in 961 households at the following census of 2011, by which time the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of the new Susan District.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 4,530 in 819 households. The largest of its 36 villages was Mombin, with 748 people.[2]
