Virmuni

Virmuni (Persian: ويرموني, also Romanized as Vīrmūnī; also known as Wermani)[3] is a village in Virmuni Rural District of the Central District of Astara County, Gilan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,151 in 612 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,319 people in 697 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,440 people in 758 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
